FanTav’s Weekend WAG: Katherine Webb

The Beauty: After a few pervy remarks were made by Brent Musburger during the 2013 BCS National Championship telecast, Ms. Webb, a spectator, became famous overnight. The Auburn grad “broke the internet” with millions of Google searches the next day. At a later date, Musburger admitted that he was directing the attention to the star QB’s girlfriend because the game itself was dull. The same can’t be said about this former beauty queen.

The Beast: Of course Ms. Webb was at the BCS title game to support her now husband, Bama quarterback, AJ McCarron. Now with the Cincinnati Bengals, McCarron’s draft stock plummeted before the 2014 Draft largely due to poor interviews with league coaches.  Undisclosed sources stated that McCarron came off as an arrogant prick.  So far in his NFL career, McCarron has not seen any playing time behind the Red Rifle aka Andy Dalton.

The Bard:  This TV time, scene-stealer deserves a lovely poem in her honor even if it does piss off all of the Auburn fans.

After Brent Musburger waxed on about her at the title game,

Katherine’s life would never again be the same.

A beauty queen and model that’s been in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues,

With millions of Google searches, Youtube videos, and inspiration of used tissues.

Katherine has redefined the digital age of instant celebrity success,

This Christian, Southern belle is truly blessed.
